…Where I just can’t fucking stand life.
Exam marks:
Chemistry:
Exam – 77%
Overall – 78%
French:
Exam – 79%
Overall – 84%
History:
Exam – 88%
Overall – 91%
Now. I have no problem with these marks. I really don’t. I mean, I wish French would’ve been higher, but y’know, that’s okay. French is a hard test.
But apparently it doesn’t matter what I think. Dad insists that I rewrite the French exam so I can get the provincial scholarship. Y’know what I’d have to get on the exam in order to get that scholarship? At least 90%. Ninety-fucking-percent. Now. I haven’t been in regular class for over a month. Added to the time until retakes. Plus the fact that it’s French, not a science, and it’s not something you can just… study. Of course, he says, “we can get you help if you need it, we don’t mind.” Oh, you don’t mind? You don’t mind paying for me to get help so that I can maybe get money? He apparently didn’t think before he spoke that phrase. ‘Cause, y’know, any sliver of pride or accomplishment I was feeling before will definitely stick around after that. We can get you help if you need it. Way to approach your child after receiving important results.
In all honesty? This is one of those times I consider leaving home for an extended period of time. And now that I can drive, I can do that. Unfortunately, I’m realistic and know that I’d have to come home eventually, and those are some consequences I’m not willing to deal with.
I don’t deserve this. I am in no way self-righteous. But I feel no remorse when I say that I truly don’t deserve this.
Just. Fuck it.
[11:25pm]
They won’t leave it alone.

I’ve managed to finish Ichigo’s head. His hair is a force to be reckoned with. I even fixed most of the smudging that happened as I was doing the hair. Phear mi. I’m hoping to complete it tonight. We shall see.
Kelowna’s kind of on fire again. Oh noes.
I keep going back to the paper and forgetting about this.
There isn’t much else to say.
Shay and Jesus leave in less than a week. :(
My leg is hardcore itchy.
It is much cooler today than it has been lately. We are able to open the doors and everything. Zomg, anomaly.
Anyway.
Rawr.

I truly believe a fair amount of the people working at the Kelowna Zellers are retards. Seriously. A real conversation over the phone with the Kelowna Zellers, while a customer was sitting right next to me (I was trying to help her):
Me: Hi, I’m calling from the Westbank store. I was wondering if you could confirm that your store had a 25% off sale that ended yesterday on the five piece Santa Barbara wicker deck set.
Girl: Um… I don’t… know. Um.
Me: Could you please ask someone who would know, maybe?
Girl: Uh, sure. Let me put you on hold for a sec.
-on hold for a long time, during which I got two more phone calls on two different phones and everyone at the Service desk laughed at me for juggling three phones-
Girl: Umm, there wasn’t a sale on that set.
-pause-
Customer: Yes, there was, the girl I spoke to yesterday told me.
Me: I have a customer here who says she was at your store yesterday and there was a sale that ended yesterday, but because you didn’t have any of the sets left in the back, she was told she could come here and we would honor the sale. I just need to confirm that there was a sale.
Girl: Um, I don’t think there was. There wasn’t on the Bermuda set.
Me: I don’t want to know if there was a sale on the Bermuda set. I want to know if there was a sale on the Santa Barbara.
Girl: Well… there’s no floor model here, so I can’t get the sku for it.
Me: I don’t need a sku.
Girl: But I need the sku to see if it comes up as .00.
Me: If the sale ended yesterday, it’s not going to come up as .00 even if you had the sku.
Customer: Ask if “Ally” is there. She’s the one I spoke to yesterday.
Me: Is Ally there by any chance? The customer says that’s who she spoke with yesterday.
Girl: Uhh, sure.
Ally: Hello?
Me: Hi. Was there a 25% off sale on the Santa Barbara that ended yesterday?
Ally: We don’t have any Santa Barbara sets left.
Me: I’m aware of that. But was there a sale?
Ally: If we don’t have any left, there wouldn’t have been a sale.
Me: But you had a display left.
Ally: But there wouldn’t have been a sale.
Me: But you had a display left.
Customer: Could I speak to her, please?
Me: Sure.
-customer and Ally speak for a while. Meanwhile, I have a small discussion with Brianne about their retardation-
Customer: Okay, she was just confused. She thought you were talking about the Bermuda set.
HOW COULD SHE THINK THAT?
-take phone back-
Me: Hello?
Ally: Hi! I’m sorry! I thought you were talking about the Bermuda set! There was a sale on the Santa Barbara that ended yesterday.
Me: Thanks.
Ally: Was that all you needed?
Me: Yes. That’s all I needed.
Ally: Okay.
Me: Bye.
Ally: Bye.
-turn to customer-
Me: Alright. I’ll just page a stockboy and he’ll have your patio set up here in a few minutes and you’ll get the 25% off.
Customer: Thanks for all your trouble.
Me: No problem.
-walk over to Brianne-
Me: I’m pretty sure every ounce of intelligence has seeped out of my brain.
Brianne: Yeah…
In other news, these guys followed me around the store for hours and Shawn made fun of me because I kept dropping the toilet paper.
Such is life.

Really not much to say. Nothing’s happened lately.
I am drawing an ever-so-humorous picture of Ichigo. Pink sunglasses ftw.
I was gonna say something else, but I forgot as soon as I thought of it.
Intel has dropped its chip prices by 67%. Woooo.
Speaking of computers, this one got even worse within the past week or two.
Because it has been years since I last watched it, I am downloading Samurai X: Rurouni Kenshin. I miss that show. I will also make a point to download the movies and OVAs, for I have not seen them yet. This means having an even more excrutiatingly slow computer for a while as I must run Azureus. Oh bother.
Anyway. Guess I could go play some games. I’ve got some free time. Wee.
[1:15am]
That’s fabulous.
In other news, I got Dad to pick up a wireless while he was in town. I still have to play around with it to see if I want to keep it or not.
The mp3 player came in the mail today. =D So far, it’s pretty fab.
So we were driving to Kelowna today when we noticed the line up for the bridge. So we changed our minds and turned around. On our way back, there was a line up just before Hudson. So everyone’s changing into the unblocked lane. When we get there, what do we see? Graham’s truck in the left-hand lane. It appeared that he rear ended someone. We laughed a lot.
Watched Hostel. ‘Twas alright.
I should go to bed soon. Work and all.

This may sound psychotic, but I’m having issues differentiating between real life and dreams lately. o.o

I have worked and/or done work related things for 14 hours today. Fuck that shit.
To make me feel better, I listen to “Ash”. Over and over again.
Still need to get into town sometime to pick up that controller. Someday.
It’s stupid humid for some unknown reason. I am not amused.
It’s confirmed that the AC was broken at work yesterday.
I saw my first actual in-person Naruto merchandise today. I thought I was going to cry. Why must they bastardize my favorite shows?
My family is going camping some weekend soonish. Pretty sweet, I must say. I’m still not ready to set foot in that trailer for more than 30 minutes again. Plus the work and such. Anyway. I don’t have to go. So woo.
I pulled something in my back somehow today. Probably from performing back-up stockboy duties which I shouldn’t have been doing. LAME.
Anyway, slap on a spat of mild depression and that’s all that’s new with me.
Pace.

Allie came over around noon today. She finally finished FFVII and started FFVIII. That’s pretty much all we did. I bbq’d some steak. We drove to Timmy’s afterwards. Then she went home.
My day in a nutshell. W-o-w.
It was nice to just sit and do nothing, though.
Despite this fact, I am still finding that I am not relaxing like I should be. It’s summer, for fuck’s sake. I’m supposed to laze about and be merry.
I have decided to quest for a wireless PS2 controller. It would make the gaming experience far more enriching. And it’d be easier for traffic to the storage room. I just hope I can find a good one that doesn’t cost too much. While I would like one, I’m not willing to spend oodles on it. We shall see. I’ll have to ask Shane which one he has and how well it works.
That’s it for now, methinks.
[11:40pm]
I, my good dear, would very much like an orange popsicle right now.

I piddled with my guitar today. I haven’t done that in a long time. :)
I really miss privacy. This house suxorz.
Other than that, I am enjoying my weekend off.
[4:04pm]
I recorded a less-than-par version of “Sayonara”. And “Steward of Gondor” (lol).
I had a dream that I got 22% on my Chem provincial. And also that I took the math provincial again and got 21%. I was kind of half asleep, too, so I thought it was real for a couple minutes there. Freaking out ensued for a moment.
Most random thing to dream about evar.
[10:55pm]
Recorded the mezzo-soprano line to “Weep No More” as well. Totally sounds way better with the other three parts. Lawl.

So I called Marusa today to see what’s going on, and they’re apparently not hiring students anymore. Lame.
In other news. I have an interview with Extra Foods in 20 minutes. How… random.
[3:05pm]
I was kinda hoping I wouldn’t get the job at Extra Foods.
But then I did.
Excuse me while I load my pistol.
[10:26pm]
I’m turning down Extra Foods because, frankly, it just won’t work. And I like Zellers better.
Other than that, I’m in a shit mood.
[10:55pm]
I am put in a socially awkward position when I am apologized to by someone who has wronged me in some way or another. I’m not sure why. It’s like it wasn’t programmed into my brain what to do in those situations.
[1:03pm]
If the only way you can or will talk to me is if you’re drunk, then perhaps you need to rethink your life. Seriously, just fuck off. I didn’t ask for your company. I hope you drown in your booze.

I really miss Eddie.
I really, really miss Eddie.
